1. Go in the late afternoon

This is my favorite strategy.

Arrive while it's still daylight, enjoy the view, stay for sunset and then see Hong Kong at night.

2. Check the weather first

The view is heavily dependent on weather conditions. Fog, rain and low clouds can completely change your experience.

The operator also notes that the quality of the view cannot be guaranteed during adverse weather.

3. Buy your tickets in advance

You can purchase tickets online or at the Peak Tram terminus. Major cards and digital wallets are accepted.

The official Special Combo combines the Peak Tram with Sky Terrace 428, which can be convenient if you want both experiences.

4. Don't assume Octopus means direct entry

An important tip for Filipinos using an Octopus Card: the official FAQ says Octopus cannot be used for direct entry, although you can use it at on-site ticket counters to purchase tickets.

5. Allow enough time for queues
