The full Halloween nighttime experience with the major haunted attractions is available only on selected dates:

- October 23–25
- October 30–31
- November 1
On these dates, the Halloween experience runs from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
So if your main goal is to experience the haunted attractions, don't simply choose any date between September 5 and November 1.
Make sure your visit falls on one of the designated nighttime Halloween dates.
What is Ocean Park Halloween Fest like?
Ocean Park Halloween is very different from Hong Kong Disneyland Halloween.
Disneyland focuses more on Disney characters, shows and family-friendly Halloween entertainment.
Ocean Park goes much further into the horror and haunted-house experience.
Expect:
- Haunted attractions
- Ghosts and scary characters
- Live performances
- Halloween-themed games
- Cosplay
- Halloween decorations
- Nighttime shows
- Special food and drinks
- Horror-themed experiences
- Regular Ocean Park rides and attractions
And this year, there are some major new experiences to look forward to.

1. Under the Castle
One of the biggest highlights of Halloween Fest 2026 is Under the Castle.
This is a brand-new haunted experience created through Ocean Park's collaboration with the globally recognized fantasy IP Under the Castle.
The experience takes visitors inside a mysterious castle filled with horror-themed scenes and surprises.
It's located near Bumper Blaster at The Summit.
For visitors who want more than just the main haunted experience, there is also an Under the Castle Plus+ VIP Access package.
The package costs HK$280 and includes:
- Under the Castle haunted experience
- Under the Castle AI Fantasy Space
- Under the Castle Into the Mirror
- Under the Castle Phantom Lounge
It also provides access to the OPPA Scaremonies venue, subject to capacity.
If you want to experience one of the major new attractions this year, this is one to put on your list.
2. Troublesome Night 8
If you're familiar with Hong Kong horror movies, the name Troublesome Night may sound familiar.
This Halloween, Troublesome Night 8 returns as one of the major haunted experiences.
It is part of Ocean Park's Triple Terror Combo, together with:
- Voodoo Boo Terror Park
- Forbidden Asylum
The combo allows you to experience all three attractions once.
The ticket costs:
HK$238 on non-peak dates
HK$280 on peak dates
Peak dates are:
- October 23–25
- October 30–31
- November 1
The ticket is separate from park admission.

3. Voodoo Boo Terror Park
This is another major Halloween attraction.
Voodoo Boo Terror Park brings visitors into a strange and supernatural world where things aren't always what they seem.
The attraction is located at Waterfront Plaza.
It combines horror, visual effects and unexpected surprises to create a creepy experience.
If you like attractions that are more than just people jumping out at you, this is one to check out.
4. Forbidden Asylum
Ready for something even darker?
Forbidden Asylum takes you into a mysterious asylum where something has clearly gone wrong.
Visitors enter the attraction and try to make their way through the terrifying environment.
This is also included in the Triple Terror Combo together with Troublesome Night 8 and Voodoo Boo Terror Park.
If you want to experience all three major haunted attractions, buying the combo can be more convenient than purchasing them individually.
5. Hong Kong Paranormal Barrier
One of the more interesting Halloween experiences is the Hong Kong Paranormal Barrier.
Instead of using only Western-style horror, this attraction draws inspiration from Hong Kong's traditional ghost stories and urban legends.
You may encounter:
- Paper effigies
- Black and White Impermanence
- Meng Po
- Taoist priests
- Chinese female ghost characters
And there's an interactive element too.
Ocean Park says more than 120 roaming ghosts will appear throughout the experience.
You can also interact with them and collect limited-edition Halloween character cards.
This is also a great opportunity for photos if you're brave enough to stand next to the ghosts!
6. OPPA Scaremonies
If you want something energetic instead of walking through a haunted attraction, check out OPPA Scaremonies.
This Korean-inspired Halloween performance features the fictional underworld boyband Demoon King, together with high-energy dance performances.
It takes place at the Applause Pavilion in The Waterfront.
The 2026 performances are scheduled on the designated Halloween nights, with multiple sessions including:
5:15 PM
6:35 PM
8:10 PM
9:30 PM
10:50 PM
Access is limited, and visitors need an eligible Halloween attraction ticket or qualifying annual membership.
So if you want to watch this show, check the requirements before heading to the venue.
7. Ghoulish Cosplay Party
Calling all cosplay fans!
Ocean Park is also hosting the Ghoulish Cosplay Party, described as one of Hong Kong's largest Halloween cosplay parties.
Expect cosplayers, performances, DJs and a mix of Cantopop, J-Pop and K-Pop.
There's even an OOTD contest where participants can show off their Halloween and cosplay looks.
The party is scheduled at Summit Plaza at 6:30 PM on the designated Halloween nights.
So if you want to dress up, this is the place to be.
8. Bulu Boo Trick-or-Treat Party
Not everything at Ocean Park Halloween is scary.
Families can enjoy the Bulu Boo Trick-or-Treat Party during the daytime.
The activity takes place at Waterfront Plaza and runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
There is also a Trick or Roll Game, where visitors can take on challenges and roll Bulu Boo's ball toward the target.
This makes Ocean Park Halloween a good option for families who want to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere without spending the whole day inside haunted attractions.
9. Horror-thrill Ocean Express
Even getting around the park becomes part of the Halloween experience.
During Halloween Fest, the Ocean Express gets a horror makeover.
Inside the train, expect flickering lights, eerie sounds and unexpected surprises.
So don't assume that taking the Ocean Express means you get a break from the Halloween scares!
10. Gala of Lights: Let in the Dark
As night falls, Ocean Park's Gala of Lights gets a Halloween transformation.
The Aqua City Lagoon becomes a dark and atmospheric nighttime spectacle featuring:
- Light projections
- Water curtains
- Dancing fountains
- Halloween-themed visuals
The current schedule lists the Gala of Lights at 7:00 PM.
This is a good choice if you want something spectacular without necessarily entering another haunted attraction.
