This year's theme: Party Like a Villain

Instead of being a traditional scary Halloween event, Hong Kong Disneyland combines Halloween fun with the Disney magic that families already love.
Expect to see characters such as Maleficent, Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Gaston, Cruella, The Queen, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella making appearances during the celebration.
And yes, guests are encouraged to dress up and join the Halloween atmosphere!
Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party
One of the biggest Halloween highlights is “Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party.”
Maleficent leads the Disney Villains as they take over Main Street, U.S.A.
This year's version has an expanded route, meaning there are more opportunities to experience the Villains during their takeover.
If you want a good viewing spot, don't wait until the last minute. Popular areas can get crowded.
There is also a Disney Premier Access option for a designated viewing area, starting from HK$99. This is an optional add-on and does not include park admission.
Let's Get Wicked
Another Halloween show you shouldn't miss is “Let's Get Wicked.”
This musical celebration brings Disney Villains such as Ursula, Dr. Facilier and Gaston to the stage.
It's more of a fun villain-themed musical than a scary show, so it's something that both adults and families can enjoy.
Disney Premier Access is also available for selected performances, starting from HK$99.

Mickey's Happy Halloween Adventure
For families with children, don't worry—Halloween at Hong Kong Disneyland isn't all about villains.
There's also the new “Mickey's Happy Halloween Adventure.”
Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy dress up for Halloween and head into an enchanted pumpkin patch.
Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, LinaBell and CookieAnn also join the celebration in festive Halloween outfits.
The show lasts around 15 minutes.
There's even a special Halloween Costume Parade for young guests, with Halloween treats and a group photo opportunity.
Current listed showtimes include 12:15 PM, 3:15 PM and 5:00 PM, although schedules can change, so check the official app on your visit date.

Meet the Disney Villains
One of the best parts of visiting during Halloween is seeing the Disney Villains around the park.
During Villain Hour, you may encounter characters including:
- Cruella
- The Queen
- Lady Tremaine
- Anastasia
- Drizella
- and other Disney Villains
As the afternoon progresses, the Villains become even more visible around the park. If you're hoping to meet a specific character, check the official Hong Kong Disneyland app for the latest character information and schedules.
Trick-or-Treating
Halloween wouldn't be complete without some treats!
During the Halloween season, guests can also enjoy trick-or-treating at selected locations with Disney Cast Members.
It's particularly fun if you're visiting with children, but adults can enjoy the Halloween atmosphere too.

Don't Miss the Halloween Food
Hong Kong Disneyland also gets plenty of seasonal Halloween food and drinks.
Look out for limited-edition Halloween-themed treats available at selected restaurants and snack locations around the park and hotels.
Some are inspired by Disney characters, while others feature spooky Halloween designs.
If you're a food content creator—or simply love trying seasonal snacks—bring your camera!
Jack Skellington's The Nightmare Before Dinner
Fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas have something special to look forward to.
Jack Skellington's The Nightmare Before Dinner brings the Halloween Town atmosphere into a special dining experience.
It's a themed banquet where guests can enjoy Halloween-inspired food while experiencing the world of Jack Skellington and his friends.
This is a separate experience, so make sure you check the details and pricing before booking.
Halloween Photo Opportunities
If you're planning to create TikToks, Reels or travel photos, Halloween is a great time to visit.
You'll find seasonal decorations around the park, Halloween-themed character appearances and plenty of opportunities to capture the Villains.
My tip:
Take your main photos during the afternoon while there's still natural light.
Then stay until evening for the darker Halloween atmosphere.
You'll basically get two completely different looks in one day.
Do I need a special Halloween ticket?
For the regular Halloween celebration, you need a valid Hong Kong Disneyland Park admission ticket and park visit reservation, depending on the ticket type and applicable requirements.
However, some experiences and Disney Premier Access options cost extra.
For example, Disney Premier Access for the designated viewing area of “Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party” starts from HK$99.
Always check what is included before purchasing an add-on.

Important Tips Before Visiting
1. Check the official schedule
Disney entertainment schedules can change.
For example, current park calendars show different showtimes on specific dates, and Disney states that entertainment may be modified or cancelled due to operational circumstances.
So don't rely entirely on another person's itinerary.
2. Arrive early for popular shows
If you really want to see a particular Halloween show, give yourself enough time to find a viewing spot.
3. Download the Hong Kong Disneyland app
The app is extremely useful for checking:
- Attraction wait times
- Showtimes
- Character information
- Park maps
- Restaurant information
- Disney Premier Access
4. Bring a power bank
If you're taking photos and videos all day while using the Disney app, your phone battery can disappear quickly.
Bring a power bank.
5. Wear comfortable shoes
You'll be walking a lot.
Trust me—comfortable shoes are more important than fashionable shoes at Disneyland!
6. Dress for Halloween
You don't need a complicated costume.
Even a Halloween shirt, Disney headband or matching outfit with your friends can make your photos more fun.
Just make sure your outfit follows Hong Kong Disneyland's guest costume guidelines.
