Valid Philippine Passport Make sure your passport is valid for the period required by your destination. Many countries require at least 6 months validity.
Visa or Visa-Free Eligibility Check whether Philippine passport holders need a visa, eVisa, ETA or other travel authorization for your destination. Requirements vary by country.
Confirmed Round-Trip Ticket For tourist travel, have your return or onward ticket available. The Philippine Bureau of Immigration lists a confirmed round-trip ticket among the documents that may be required for tourist travelers.

eTravel Registration - Register here! Departing Filipino passengers are required to register/update their information through the Philippine eTravel system. Registration is free and can be completed within 72 hours before departure.
Travel Insurance - Buy here! Strongly consider travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip delays, baggage problems and other covered incidents. Some destinations may specifically require insurance.
Proof of Financial Capacity Be prepared to demonstrate that you can financially support your trip if asked. This may include bank statements, credit/debit cards, cash or other legitimate proof of funds.
Complete Travel Itinerary Know your basic itinerary: where you're staying, places you're visiting, transportation arrangements and your return plans. This can help you answer questions from immigration or border officers clearly.
Important Travel Documents and Copies Keep digital and physical copies of your passport, visa, hotel booking, flight ticket, insurance and other important documents. Store them somewhere accessible even if you lose your phone or wallet.
